Is there a fee for participation or usage at any stage?
There are no joining fees or recurring fees for the end-user.
I have now got a user ID but i don't have access to any or some of the properties availability and rates?
After you get the user ID you will have to relate with the Suppliers to get access to the shared room allotment and rates. You can view lists of participating Suppliers and property information by destination from your module. You can request for a relation from the list and it is also important that you keep your profile updated on RoomAllot so that Suppliers can see the details to know more about you.
After the Suppliers create the relation, you will be able to view the availability and rates for the properties offered by the Supplier. It is entirely up to the Supplier to honor or reject your request for a relation with you and they have the authority to close the relation at any time.
The Supplier trying to relate with me says that the my account is not an 'open' account?
RoomAllot allow Suppliers to create 'private' Tour op. accounts to sell their property in a private environment. You should request your primary Supplier who opened the account for you to change your account to an 'open' account.
To whom do we pay for the bookings and is there a dead-line for payment?
You pay to your Supplier for the bookings you make as agreed on the online contract or as specified on written contract you may have with your Supplier. The Supplier will decide on the payment deadline acknowledgement and they have the authority to cancel the booking if the payment is delayed giving the reason for the cancellation.
Do we have to wait for the Supplier to acknowledge the booking before we can confirm to our client?
A booking is confirmed if the status says confirmed, but if you have a prior agreement with the Supplier to wait for the acknowledgement you will need to wait till you receive the acknowledgment.
Can we sign a contract and/or keep a security deposit with the Supplier?
Yes, it is up to the Supplier and User to decide how to contract and decide on payment procedure for the bookings or if necessary to keep a security deposit.
