05 Dec 2011 Lily Beach introduces split stay surcharge
   

The Lily beach Resort & Spa management has decided to introduce an additional supplement on the room rates which will affect all bookings requiring a change in the room category during a single stay. The Supplement will be applied with the following conditions.

1) A supplement of USD 150 inclusive will be charged for all reservations which require change of two room categories during a single stay.
2) The supplement shall be charged for all new bookings effective 08 Dec 2011 and onwards
3) The supplement will affect bookings with travelling period 01 Jan 2012 – 24 Dec 2012
4) The guests willing to have a room category change shall be charged only once the amount of USD 150 inclusive to help recover the costs involved.
5) The reservations which have been already confirmed in our system until 04 Dec 2011, for the period 01 Jan – 24 Dec 2012 will be honored without additional charges.
6) The remaining terms and conditions will remain as per contract.

12 Oct 2011 Announcement Regarding Planned Improvement works at Huvafenfushi
   

After 7 extremely successful years of operation, it is time to refresh Huvafen Fushi. While the retreat in general is in very good condition, it is of critical importance to us and of course our guests, that we maintain the very highest quality product and operations standards that Huvafen Fushi and Per
AQUUM are synonymous for.

This refresh programme has been in planning for some time now and is a very delicate undertaking given that we have no wish to change the DNA of the Island that has made it an award winning property.

Given the small size of Huvafen Fushi and after very detailed consideration, it is clear that we could not carry out the refresh renovation works without causing inconvenience to the guest experience. Therefore, the only way we can complete this program is to close the retreat for a short period of time.
We can now confirm that Huvafen Fushi will close from 20 May – 31 July 2012.

From now until 20 May 2012 it is very much business as usual, but we wanted to give you time to plan for the closure, hence this announcement. We are of course delighted that Per AQUUM’s spectacular new resort in the Maldives, NIYAMA, will be open and in full operation and therefore able to cater for
Huvafen Fushi guests through the closure period.

We hope that you share our excitement with the future re-launch of a magnificent upgraded Huvafen Fushi on 1 August 2012.

03 Oct 2011 Notifications Of Refurbishment At Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru & Angsana Ihuru In 2012
   

Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru : We are pleased to share with you some updates in regards to the closure of Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru from 01st July 2012 to 31st August 2012 for refurbishment of accommodation and facilities as listed briefly in this notice.

1) All Standard Villas will be upgraded to Deluxe level.After refurbishment both standard villa categories ( Oceanview Villa & Beachfront Villa ) will be out of sales. Instead we will have more deluxe villas: 19 Deluxe Oceanview Villa and 27 Deluxe Beachfront Villa. 2 Vabbinfaru Villas will be also renovated and will remain in same category

2) All guests villas will be renovated and in additional will have following new features: Private Plunge pool with separate jet pool , New setup of the deck in the private pool area - with cozy daybed , side table and lights, New 32" flat screen TV & New entertainment System

3) Spa : Will be extended with 6 new Indoor Treatment rooms & New Manicure /Pedicure Treatment room


Angsana Ihuru : We are pleased to share with you some updates in regards to the closure of Angsana Ihuru from 01st April 2012 - 30th June 2012 for refurbishment of accommodation and facilities as listed briefly in this notice.


1) All guests villas will be renovated and in addition will have following new features: 20\% more indoor space. Total area will be increased by 11 sqm for each category, New 32" flat screen TV, King size bed, Indoor area with extra bed and dining table & WiFi access ( Complimentary )

2)Spa : Will be extended with new treatment rooms

3)Dive Center : Dive center will be a major point of refurbishment in order to provide guests with better and more spacious facilities for more convenient access to ihuru's own Rannamari Ship Wreck ( located jus 5 min swim from the house reef ) and to fantastic dive sites in the nearby area
