 Sleeping with the fishes has been given a whole new meaning at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. The resort, famous for its underwater restaurant, is now offering on request the opportunity for guests to sleep 16 feet below sea level.
The beautiful Ithaa restaurant opened at the resort in South Ari Atoll six years ago to international acclaim as the world's first undersea restaurant. Now guests at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island can not only dine there, but also request for the restaurant to be transformed into a fully-equipped bedroom suite. The room is set up with a double bed and all the comforts of a Conrad villa. The guests will be able to drift off to sleep after watching Maldives marine-life glide past their bed.
The all-glass suite can only be booked for one night at a time. All the usual Conrad Maldives Rangali Island services such on-request massages are still made available in the unique bedroom.
